Ballet Recital

Louisa had her long-awaited ballet recital today. She was unbelievably adorable during her Frosty the Snowman routine. Her fleece headband fell down across her eyes with each attempted hop. As soon as it fell across the bridge of her nose, she'd push the band back up into place. After five or six times, nearly every person in the audience was laughing loudly along with us. I was shooting a video (which I intend to post at some point during this decade), and although the camera was resting on a tripod, I was laughing so hard it shook.

Gus loved the show and all of the attention he received. Louisa appeared not to be fazed at all by the large audience as she asserted her stage presence and stole the show.
