I've been scolded again for my lapse in updating. So here are a few from the Zoo here in Tampa. Louisa was visited by the "minky fairy" and received a homemade ticket to the zoo in exchange for all of her beloved pacifiers. It took about a week for her to come around to the idea. But once she figured there was a "present" in it for her, she was totally on board. She was a little confused with the concept of a present not being completely tangible and continued to look for her minky fairy present before and after the zoo trip.

Now we're on to potty training.

The Chico Family

On our trip up to Wilmington, NC to visit my family we stopped in Charleston, SC to visit my great friend Warren Chico and his family. It is the first time we've seen each other in several years and the first time our families have met. Here are a few photos of Warren, his wife Amy and their adorable sweet and beautiful daughters Julie, 11 mos, and Amelia, 3.

We had a wonderful time catching up and Louisa and Amelia hit it off perfectly after Louisa's initial shy phase. They spent lots of time playing on the swing set, reading books and being rowdy.

Road Trip

We're making our first road trip with two kids and have begun to discuss the unthinkable--a minivan. Here we are approaching Charleston, SC.
