More Christmas Photos

Christmas Morning 2006

I caught Louisa coming out of her room a little after 7am. She pointed and whispered that she wanted to go to the living room. After rousing all of the others and a frantic diaper change, Louisa hustled down the hall.

Santa, especially "Dunkirk Santa", was very good to her and the whole family. Louisa ripped through her gifts and helped herself to other's presents as well.

She had a great morning and was so much fun to watch. Being 2 1/2 seems to be the perfect age for Christmas.

Our pleas for moderation went unheard and Louisa is now the proud, and deserving owner, of such items as a tricycle, American Girl doll (along with stroller and crib), multiple Dora items, a tent and sleeping bag, TMX Elmo and a multitude of noise making instruments--the coolest of which is a wonderful accordion.

Now we're going to ask Santa for an addition to the house to make room for Louisa's Christmas spoils.

And it is a good thing Santa came earlier, because we're under tornado warnings until mid afteroon.

Merry Christmas!

Louisa Smiling

Louisa's exaggerated smile prompted by Christmas cheer.

As I write this, Uncle Scott is putting Louisa to sleep. Papa showed her Santa's sleigh way up high in the sky as Santa makes his way North and Grandma and Aimee helped her put cookies and milk by the fireplace.

It appears we're ready for Christmas.

Christmas 2005 Photos

Here are photos from last Christmas in Erie, PA. Aunt Judy wrote earlier in the month, using her stern voice, suggesting that I add photos from Christmas morning promptly after Louisa opens her gifts. In response to that I'm adding photos from last year.

Tent Time

While digging through stacks of stuff we own, I stumbled across our camping tent. It hasn't seen the light of day in several years, so I decided to set it up in the back yard, I mean sand lot, to surprise Louisa. She loved it!!!

TV returns to the Morris house

We've been without a televison for many months, but decided to get cable recently. Here are the results.....
