Halloween

Sorry for the long delay!!!!

We had another exciting Halloween this year. Anne-Catherine, the Eden's exchange student from Belgium (in 1989!), and her family joined us for trick-or-treating festivities. Anne-Catherine painted all the faces: Louisa was a prairie girl (costume made by Gramma Carleen in the 1970s when Little House on the Prairie and Hollie Hobbie were in their heyday); Gus was a 1970's clown (costume also from the 70's, made by Gramma); Alice was a witch (dress and cape compliments of Gramma); and Sebastien was a pirate (vest from India and the rest from Belgium). Anne-Catherine painted Philippe's Indian face, and Alice painted Anne-Catherine's butterfly face. They got lots of compliments, and lots of candy! And Gus was so enthused with his candy that he ate lots of it with the wrapper on.
