Gus isn't sad

A few commented that Gus looked sad on his first day of school. He wasn't at all and his second day went just as well. Louisa on the other hand was pretty upset that she couldn't go to school with him.

So here he is with a big toothy smile and his long hair, suitable for a comb over. He has the two lower teeth obviously and is now getting one in the top which makes him a little fussy at times.

Gus Goes to School

Today was Gus' first day of daycare. Since I'm now in school full time, along with Aimee, and we're both working part time on campus, Gus is going for 15 hours a week.

He seemed fine and didn't notice, or cry, when we left the room. Hopefully all goes well. Aimee's office is just around the corner, so she can stop in to feed him and check on him if needed.

Ballerina

Louisa had her first ballet class this weekend and seemed to really love it. Unfortunately, we had to watch her through the crack of a closed room divider or through a small window of a door that other proud parents were crowding around. The instructor will open the room to viewing in a few weeks after all of the girls are comfortable and less likely to be distracted.

Fun stuff....

In addition to mimicking a greased pig during diaper changes, Gus is learning to appreciate bipedal vantage points.

As for Louisa, Play-Doh eyeball making sessions occupy her time, as well as......

....making a mess.

A month behind...

Louisa turned three on July 23. We were visiting Aimee's parents during that time so they threw her a party and invited lots of friends. She loved it!
