Week One with Two
Wow! Things are a little more hectic around our house these days. Our former Peace Corps director from Kazakstan wrote and said that going from 1 to 2 (kids) is easier than going from 0 to 1 and she is right. But in my opinion, just one is pretty damn tough, especially when she is two.
Aimee is recovery well, but August's constant desire to eat means she doesn't get much sleep. Louisa stills rules the house but is gladly making room and time for her little brother.
August seems to really be growing, even after one week. He is alert when not in the football hold gulping down his many meals and is even holding up his head quite a bit. Everyone always told us that "they grow up quickly" and we always thought to ourselves, "yea, yea", but it is so true. It is even more mind blowing to think that this little guy rooting around and crying was IN Aimee's belly just over a week ago. I have a difficult time understanding how TV really works let alone this.
